Factors To Consider When Choosing A Place To Live

The property market in Malaysia is currently booming, so if you are considering buying a new property or moving to a new house, now is a great time for you to do so. Although it is extremely exciting, choosing where you want to move can be overwhelming at times as there are a number of things that you have to factor in. To make the process a bit easier for you, here are the factors that you need to consider when choosing a place to live.

Cost

Although it may be obvious, the cost of the property is probably the most important factor that you need to consider when choosing somewhere to live. The cost of a property will highly depend on what type of property it is. For example, a terrace house will be relatively cheaper than the likes of a penthouse apartment. These properties in Rumah Perak are all reasonably priced, meaning you will get good value for your money in this area. It is also important to remember that certain bigger properties will be more expensive to power and heat, therefore you should consider how much you are willing to pay on utilities from month to month before deciding on a property to move into.

Five Kitchen Trends of 2021

If you are renovating your home, you might be wondering what some of the 2021 kitchen trends are. That’s why I am here – to share some of my favorite trends with all of you! Read through this list and then let me know if you have any favorite kitchen trends of 2021, as well:

Painted cabinets

A long while ago, yellow or brown wood was THE style, then it turned to white wood (most people painted theirs), but now, painted brightly colored cabinets are definitely in. To be honest, though. White was and will always be “in,” but I am definitely loving the new trend of colored cabinets. When you do paint your cabinets, make sure you are well versed in the technique that you need to use to paint them. This is important to make sure you will love your cabinets once they are finished! Do a little bit of research on Google and you will be good to go. Also, make sure you consider the other colors you currently have in your kitchen. If your floors are cherry red, you wouldn’t want maroon cabinets. In the end, it comes down to what you prefer – everyone is different! One great paint option to consider is ECOS because they are non-toxic. However, most paint companies are starting to make cleaner paints and Home Depot actually had this (sourcing cleaner paints) on their task list for a while, which is a huge step in the paint world!

How to Fix Common Shower Issues

Taking a shower is an everyday routine for most people. Now that hygiene and cleanliness play even bigger parts in everyday life because of COVID-19, it’s become even more essential. Plus, showers can provide you some time for yourself to de-stress and take a step back from your day. So when things go awry, it can be inconvenient and incredibly annoying. To help you avoid those situations, we’ve rounded up a list of the most common shower issues and how to fix them:

Clogged drain

Dirt, hair, and soap and shampoo build-up are all culprits of clogged drains. And if you have small children around the house, you may also need to contend with other items like toys, paperclips, pieces of paper — you name it — accidentally dropped into the shower drain, too.

If you can see what’s causing the blockage, you can try removing it by hand. For things like soap build-up in smaller clogs, it can usually be fixed by running some baking soda and vinegar down the drain; although a plumbing snake may be needed for larger clogged drains. Whenever you bring out the plumbing snake or any chemical drain cleaners, be wary if you’re unsure about what you’re doing. It’s best to call in the pros for stubborn clogs since you may end up causing more damage to the drains or to yourself. Read more
