I am always looking to add to my growing tarot and oracle cards collection. I remember how excited I was when I received my first deck at 12 and I’ve been obsessed with collecting ever since.
The Journey Oracle Deck by Allison Filice features 52 cards that feature gorgeous colorful illustrations. These cards are a helpful tool on your journey to healing, growth, and even creativity.
The included booklet is easy to read and contains background information on Allison who quit her job in 2016 to become a freelance illustrator. She discusses her battle with anxiety and depression and how she transformed her life.
The deck can be used in several different ways. First, you want to shuffle your deck, get to know it, and add your energy. You can then pull one card or multiple cards. You can also use the deck daily, weekly or whenever feels right. I often google oracle spreads and use them as well. Pinterest is one of my favorite places to search for them too. You can also use the guidebook or allow your intuition to guide you to decide what the cards mean.
The Guidebook:
One thing I like is that the guidebook not only has meaning but also inspiring quotes from people such as Buddha, Vincent Van Gough, and Deepak Chopra. I feel like the more you get connected with your cards and use them, the less you need to reference the guidebook. But it really comes down to personal preference.
Overall, this is a gorgeous deck that gives off a very positive vibe. I often refer to this deck when I need positivity and guidance. The illustrations are stunning and it’s become one of my favorite decks.
