One of the Hottest Toys from Hape

As a first-time parent, I am always on the lookout for toys my son will love, Before Hape sent me this product, I saw it on several popular websites including Babylist as one of the most popular toys. This toy carries a high rating on every website I have checked and parents are raving about it so I had to see what all the talk is about.

Hape is a world-leading educational toy brand that offers a huge variety of toys for different age stages. Their website is organized by category as well as age stage and several of their toys are award-winning.

The toy that so many people are talking about is the Penguin Musical Wobbler.

This adorable little blue penguin features a built-in bell that makes noise when played with. This is a roly-poly toy that is perfect for tummy time. My son’s favorite thing to do is bat at it and then laugh when he swings back! The wings also move and are one of my son’s favorite things to grab.

This toy helps build hand-eye coordination, cause-and-effect learning, dexterity, and grasping.

Final Thoughts:

My son comes from a very musical family so I knew I wanted to expose him to music early on. I was excited when I researched Hape to see that they offered a variety of musical toys.

Hape was kind enough to send along their DJ Mix & Spin Studio as well as their Baby Drum for my son Thomas to check out.

The DJ Mix & Spin Studio features 4 DJ sound effects, 5 background tunes, a DJ scratchpad, temp and pitch selector, 4 different instruments, and even quirky sounds! It also features a volume selector and has flashing lights.

While this toy is marketed for 12 months-5 years, my son Thomas LOVES it. I love the toy is something he can use for years to come.

The Baby Drum is unique to other drums I have researched. Hape’s Baby Drum also creates noise when you roll it and move it around. This encourages your baby to crawl as they follow the noise and colors. They can also tap the color circles to hear beats and music.

My son absolutely LOVES this toy, he actually has another drum from a different company that he has zero interest in. I think the reason he loves Hape’s Baby Drum is that it’s more interactive and he can hear music when rolling it or even just by picking it up.

Reading is something I loved doing as a kid and is something I encourage with my kids. My 9-year-old Step Daughter struggles with reading at times and I’ve been on the hunt for books that keep her attention.

I recently came across Colton’s Pocket Dragon by Rebecca Massey and I am so happy when both my step-kids took interest. Finding The Perfect Gifts For Your Kids For Christmas

Finding gifts for my kids that keep their minds motivated, as well as their bodies can be so hard. In this day and age, it seems like most kids only want to sit and play games that are on screens. So this year for Christmas, I wanted to make sure to find them gifts that they could get outside and use. And use their imagination. Not just things that would keep them sitting on their rears all winter long.

My kids had so much fun using their imaginations to make up different scenarios. And had even more fun when friends would come over to play with them.
