The United States is never short of things for you to do. No matter what state you’re in, there are countless things to occupy your time.
Should you find yourself in Tennessee anytime soon, these are some of the things you absolutely mustn’t miss out on.
Visit Graceland
Considering it’s home to places like Nashville and Memphis, it’s no wonder that Tennessee is so closely associated with music. It helps that there are attractions like Graceland – Elvis Presley’s former home – to really get that point across.
Whether you’re a big fan of the King or not, the rock’n’roll icon’s house is definitely worth seeing with your own eyes. Not only will it give you an insight into how the other half live, but it’ll also show you just how weird and wonderful his life was.
Stop Off At Dollywood
Another musical legend linked to Tennessee is Dolly Parton, and she too has her own landmark attraction that’s worth a visit.
Discover Ruby Falls
One place that’s definitely worth stopping off at while you’re in Tennessee is Ruby Falls. A favored landmark in the area, it offers visitors plenty of things to do in Chattanooga.
Whether you’re exploring the cavern trail to the States’ tallest and deepest open cave waterfall, or flying through the trees on the 700-foot high ziplines, you won’t be bored here. Just seeing the sights alone is enough to take your breath away and make you glad you came.
Explore The Smoky Mountains
Easily one of the most stunning natural attractions in Tennessee, if not the entirety of the United States, is the Smoky Mountains. With hundreds of miles worth of trails to explore, you can keep coming back here and always discover something new.
If you’re not the walking type, you can still enjoy what’s on offer by taking a nice scenic drive through the national park. There are so many picturesque sights at all times of the day. Saying that, though, seeing the trees and mountains in the evening sun does make for the most gorgeous views. Plus, you can always camp overnight or stay in one of the cabins if you don’t feel like driving back in the dark.
This is merely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to stuff that’s available to you in Tennessee. The state is filled with so many wonders that you’ll need a few weeks at your disposal to enjoy what’s on offer. Even then, you may not get to see everyone, although that just gives you an excuse to return in the future for another fun-filled vacation.
