Being a woman, it can be amazingly impossible to navigate the body wash/scrub aisle at the grocery store. With so many choices to choose from where do you even begin? While some people love the smell of fresh chemicals in the morning, I prefer to have something more natural. That’s why when I heard about Enfusia’s handmade soaps that are made in the USA, I knew I just had to try their products!  Being free of parabens, phthalates, dyes and SLS is pretty awesome, not to mention $0.10 from each bar of soap they sell goes to fighting human trafficking. That’s amazing!

As y’all know, I love going to conventions of all types.  I have been to everything from Fanboy in Knoxville, to Nourished Festival in Atlanta, and everything in between.  One convention genre I have not delved in to up until this past weekend, was a Christian forward con.

With prices as high as they are, if you are like me, you are having trouble making a budget and sticking to it.  Here are a handful of my tips I use to keep myself on track.

If I’m out running errands, I’ll make a drink and take it with me in a reusable tumbler so I’m not tempted to go the coffee shop or even through the drive through somewhere or a gas station and get a drink.

Bathroom Hacks for Saving Money #savingwithmisty

When you come into my house, more than likely you will find really nice products in my bathroom.  On the other hand, if you know anything about me, you know I like to save money where at all possible.  How do I do this and use luxury bathroom items is a question I get a lot.  So here are some of my bathroom hacks.

Just a few frugal tips and secrets as to how I use luxury products on the cheap.

I only condition my hair once a month. That keeps my hair from getting greasy. I shower every other day unless I am exerting and getting dirty somehow, that’s how I save on water and bath products.

When I’m getting ready to sit down and relax I always grab a snack to help me unwind. I’m not much of a chocolate person so my snack usually consists of a fruit tray or when I crave sugar, gummy snacks. My favorite flavors almost always get left out though! So when I heard about Amos having peach and pineapple flavored 4d juicy burst gummies, I knew I had to try them.

With the peach flavored ones, when I opened the bag, I was immediately struck by a super strong, pleasant peach aroma. As I began to eat one, the taste matched the smell. They don’t taste artificial or chalky like a lot of other gummies do.

The pineapple flavored variety held nothing back as well! Whoever is in charge of the flavor department needs a raise because these gummies are fire! The pineapple flavor isn’t overpowering, but definitely tastes very sweet.

The 3D effect is really cool on these. The way you can stand them up is pretty cool. Overall, these gummies hit the spot and held nothing back when it came to flavor. 4/5, definitely recommended!
