Ways to Save While Traveling

If you’re like me and love to travel but are feeling the pinch of expenses, here are a few of my own tips and tricks to help you save money while on vacation.

~ If at all possible, drive to your destination.  I do realize if you are traveling across the country or out of the country, this is not feasible, however with the prices of airplane tickets skyrocketing, this will save so much money in the airplane fees, parking your car at the airport, etc.

~ When you are at your hotel, ask for extra toiletries, I promise you the hotel staff does not mind handing you a few extra. Even if you are there for one night, ask for two bottles of everything per person in the room, per night. Might seem small, but those little bottles add up, and most of them are high end products.

In today’s fast-paced world, subscription boxes have become increasingly popular, catering to various interests and hobbies. Pet owners, especially cat lovers, are not left behind, as there are subscription boxes designed specifically for their furry friends. One such box is the KitNip Box, a monthly subscription service that delivers a curated selection of toys, treats, and other goodies for cats. In this review, we will explore the KitNip Box experience for two feline friends, Tigger and Shadow.

Tigger and Shadow are two adorable cats who bring joy and laughter to their owner’s home. Tigger, a playful and energetic orange tabby, loves chasing toys and exploring new things. Shadow, a sleek and mysterious grey tabby, is more reserved but equally curious. Their owner, Misty, decided to surprise them with a KitNip Box subscription to keep them entertained and engaged.

When the KitNip Box arrived, Tigger and Shadow were immediately intrigued by the enticing scent emanating from the box. I opened it, and this months theme was back to school.  The thing that got Shadows attention was the ruler, and Tigger loves the apple.

Women’s Convoy Lugz Boots Review

Winter may be gone, but that doesn’t mean you have to put away those winter boots!  I live in the mountains, so it still gets cold at night, and one thing I like to invest into it comfortable, durable footwear.  When I was given the opportunity to review another pair of Lugz, I jumped at the opportunity.  This time, they sent me their Women’s Convoy Faux Fur 6 Inch Boots in Pink.

For those of you who are not familiar with Lugz, Lugz is a shoe company that carries stylish and practical shoes. All of their shoes and boots have non-slip grip on the bottom, and they carry Men’s, Women’s, and now they are carrying kid sized boots and shoes as well!  Those of you who have been following my blog know that I jump at every chance I get to review Lugz.

These boots are super comfy with faux fur lined, which is great for keeping your feet warm during winter months.  As with all of their shoes and boots, they do have an amazing non slip bottom and are stylish, comfortable, and fashionable.

As always, I am super impressed with these boots, and look forward to the cold days (and nights) when I will be able to wear them.  I love the pink coloring as well.

The Review

Now, being the bath and body junkie I am, y’all know I am a hard critic going into this review.  However, those of you who have been following my blog for a while also know that I have been in love with Vitabath since I first reviewed them in 2018.  This time they were kind enough to send me not only their old goodies, but their new goodies as well.

As I write this review, I have one of my favorite products going – the Heavenly Coconut Crème Scented Candle.  I did not get to try the candles last time, and I’m glad I got to try them this time.  I love the clean burn this candle gives off, and the light scent has the perfect amount of throw without all the harsh chemicals of other candles I have come across.

I was also sent a product from their new Black Plum line – I was sent the Body Cream, and it smells good enough to eat!  They also have a new Lavender Chamomile line that is both soothing and relaxing, with just enough lavender to relax with the correct balance with the chamomile.
