I have always had a love affair with cosmetics. When I was young my grandma would sit down every day and put her makeup on, and I always sat and watched in awe. It didn’t matter if she wasn’t going anywhere that day- she wasn’t ready to conquer the day until her face was on. I live my life by the same philosophy. I don’t wear makeup for anyone other than myself, and it gives me the confidence to slay the day away.
The problem for me is finding products that actually stay put all day! It’s harder than you would think, especially eye products for me. I tend to have oily eyelids, so even long-wear products tend to not really be long-wear for me. Eyeliners are especially difficult for me to find.
Recently I was able to try out L.A. Girl Shockwave Liners, and I had very little hope that these would stay put through me slaying the day away because of previous experiences with other brands’ metallic formulas.
